"I was born in Liverpool and trained as teacher in Hull. During the ten years prior to my move to Scotland in 1999, I
coordinated the artwork throughout a large junior school situated in the York area."
"I now live and work in The Greengate, High Street, Kirkcudbright, former home of Jessie M King and E A Taylor which is situated at the heart of the former artists’
centre. My studio overlooks Greengate Close, one of the settings for Dorothy L Sayers “Five Red Herrings”.
My work has evolved through water colours and acrylics into mixed media."
"I have exhibited in the Harbour Gallery and The Tolbooth where I had a successful exhibition in the main gallery."
"In 2003 I was asked by The Chamber of Commerce to represent Kirkcudbright as a working artist at their tourism stand in Glasgow’s Exhibition
Centre."
