Gladstone House is one of the town's finest Georgian Grade II listed buildings. It has been sympathetically restored and combines modern comfort with its original charm and elegance. Guests are encouraged to use all the facilities the property provides including its secluded and spacious garden.

Return visitors to Kirkcudbright will need no introduction to the many interests and attractions that the town and the surrounding countryside offers, including its golf, bird watching, walking, cycling, gardens, history, castles and fishing. The town provides a full programme of festivals as diverse as jazz and art.
