GETTING HERE

By road

Driving from London is a relaxed six or seven hour drive. From Manchester or Leeds, three hours, and from Glasgow or Edinburgh, two hours. You'll find that our quiet country roads make driving a pleasure.

Kirkcudbright lies 25 miles beyond (west of) Dumfries on the coast south of the A75. Motor cyclists are especially welcome - the roads are well maintained and some can be both fun and a challenge.
